Peter Krantz is our Chief Executive Officer of Multipharma SA and its affiliates. He completed his studies at the Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland with a Master’s of Science and Master’s of Business Administration and spent several years working for a U.S. Multinational Company. Since 1993, he has been extensively involved in all aspects of the Pharmaceutical Business. He is a Swiss citizen and is fluent in English, German, French, Italian and Swedish.

Chief Operating Officer

After graduating from the National Taiwan University in International Business, Kay-Christian led the business unit Oncology and Specialised Therapeutics of Schering AG (Germany) in Taiwan. This company is now part of Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. During this assignment he and his team were responsible for sales and marketing of several scientifically challenging products and deeply involved with Named Patient as well as Pre-Marketing programs. He then moved on to establish new areas of activity in his capacity as Regional Business Development Manager at Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific, Hong Kong. He was mainly engaged in storage and distribution across Asia and generating clients for this new business. Since 2009 Kay-Christian has been establishing the activities of the Multipharma Group in the EU, particularly Germany, as well as in Asia. He manages and oversees all global operations, including business development, group financing and controlling, customer service and quality.

John started his career at Bestfoods/Unilever, using his fluent Chinese to focus on gaining a deep understanding of “classical” marketing, customer insights and positioning. In 2002, John moved to Schering as Women’s Health BU Head. When Schering was merged by Bayer, John took over additional responsibility for Men’s Health. During this time, John also took on roles as a Mentor for Bayer Taiwan Mentor Program and also served 5 years as Region APAC Marketing Excellence Facilitator. In 2010, due to strong people development skills, John was asked to add Organization Development to his portfolio. He also created the best intern program in Taiwan’s pharma industry. In 2012, John was selected to be one of the initial 6 global Country Champions for the Customer Facing Excellence project (CFEx). John joined Multipharma in 2014 to drive Multipharma growth and develop its people.

Finance & Administration Director

Peter joined Multipharma in 2009 and he has been leading the Finance & Administration department since 2014, where he oversees Finance, HR, Legal, IT and Office Management. His focus at Multipharma has been to set up workflows and to align processes across all Multipharma entities.

Prior to joining Multipharma, Peter worked for service companies as Strategic Marketing Consultant and Director of Client Services. Focusing on digital marketing transformation and innovation, mainly in the field of FMCG, Peter also spent five years in Mexico and Argentina, gaining a deeper understanding of Latin American markets. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Media Production.

Damian holds a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University and an MA in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University. Prior to joining Multipharma, Damian worked in a multinational company providing customizable supply chain management solutions.  Before taking on his current global role, Damian supervised the US Project Management team. As Global Head Project Management and Strategic Procurement his goals include expanding the portfolio of products offered to Multipharma’s customers while improving the customer satisfaction on services tendered.

Global Public Relations Manager

After graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences (Pharmacology), Ann-Marie Huss moved to Germany. She began working at a Berlin-based contract research organisation, primarily focusing on phase I clinical trials, where she worked within the project and quality management teams. Upon joining Multipharma, she was initially involved in implementation of the company’s internal data management system as well as assisting on several key comparator sourcing projects.  Later she was appointed Project Manager, coordinating pre-marketing and named-patient programs within Germany. Her focus then turned to the establishment of Multipharma’s clinical trial supply activities within the UK in 2012 when she was appointed Managing Director. She has more recently taken on a global communications role.

Global Logistics Manager

Elia Guidali is Managing Director of the Swiss branch office of Multipharma SA, Luxembourg. Before working for Multipharma, Elia held positions in the insurance sector. He joined the Multipharma Group in 2007. He was later promoted to Head of Logistics in 2008, a position from which he gained experience in storage and distribution, import-export, quality control, sourcing of comparators and all steps involved in the clinical trial supply chain. He was appointed Managing Director of the Swiss branch office in 2014. He coordinates the logistics for comparators for Multipharma’s global affiliates. Elia is a Swiss citizen and is fluent in Italian, English and German.

Global Quality Manager

After graduating from the University of Rostock, Germany with a diploma in Biology, Christina Neuschl moved to Berlin, Germany to receive her doctor’s degree from The Humboldt University of Berlin. There she worked as a scientist in the field of genetics and conducted pre-clinical trials with obese mice as model organisms. In order to gain work experience abroad, she spent nine months at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK learning statistical methods for genetic analysis.

In 2011, Dr. Christina Neuschl joined the Multipharma Group as Project Manager and developed her knowledge of the Quality processes involved in the clinical trial supply chain. Today she is responsible for Global Quality Management, coordinating all Quality-related procedures to ensure Multipharma’s compliance to applicable legislation and current global GDP standards.
